Building the future of real-time search

Mission and Vision

The web doesn't sit still. Facts gain and lose relevance by the hour, and the truth itself is in constant motion as billions of people measure, comment on, and reshape it. Search should keep up — finding not just what's relevant, but knowing when it's true.

We're building a search engine with a missing dimension: time. Flux delivers the freshest answers from across the open web, anchored to the moment they're true — so people, and the AI tools they build, always know where they stand.

Introducing Flux

Existing search engines have done a remarkable job of organising the web. But the methods we still rely on were designed for a slower internet — one where a page indexed last week was still good enough today. The modern web doesn't sit still. Information gains and loses relevance in hours, and the truth itself constantly mutates as we measure, comment on, and share our reality from billions of different angles.

Search is no longer just a human activity either. AI agents now stitch together fragments of the web at machine speed, running more queries between them than people ever will. They're fast — but easily lose their footing in time, confidently citing a prime minister who left office last year, or medical advice retired two updates ago. As token costs push models toward smaller and smaller slices of context, that precision only erodes further.

A new way to search.

Flux is a search engine built around a missing dimension: when. We crawl the open web continuously so what we return is genuinely current, and we organise every result by the moment it was true — whether that's a birthdate that never changes, or a headline whose shelf life is measured in hours.

We do this at the level of individual facts, not just whole pages, so both people and the agents they build can tell at a glance how fresh something is, when it was claimed, and how long it's likely to hold. More than this, we are building to be web-wide — not a single social platform or a handful of API integrations duct-taped together to give you a football score or a weather update.

Our long-term vision is for Flux to become the search engine that builders, creators, and AI-native teams reach for when accuracy depends on knowing where information sits in time. Each result we deliver is a step toward the real goal: the freedom to organise the past, and find what's next, NOW.

In an age where information moves faster than ever, we're building the tools to enable the next generation of search to be immediate, intelligent, and built for a constant state of flux.
